For more than 30 years, Mr. Gary Martin has worked for various Army missions delivering information and communications technology that Soldiers need now and in the future. As Program Executive Officer for Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T), Mr. Martin guides a workforce of more than 1,600 personnel who acquire, field and support the communications networks, radios, satellite systems and other hardware and software Soldiers require for information dominance on the battlefield.
Mr. Martin comes to PEO C3T after serving as the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Deputy to the Commanding General, where he worked with the commander in the development and execution of organizational goals, objectives, and policies aimed at providing world- class, integrated Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions to the Soldier.
His career also includes the following positions: Executive Deputy to the Commander, U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command, RDECOM, APG, Director, Communications Electronics Research Development and Engineering Center, RDECOM, Fort Monmouth, Associate Director for Technology, Communications Electronics Research Development and Engineering Center, RDECOM, Fort Monmouth, Acting Project Manager for Tactical Radio Communications Systems, Fort Monmouth, and Deputy Project Manager for Tactical Radio Communications Systems, Fort Monmouth.
Mr. Martin is well respected in the industry and has been recognized for his accomplishments in being presented with the Presidential Rank Award – Distinguished as well as Meritorious and the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association’s Benjamin H. Oliver Gold Medal for Engineering. He has earned a MS in Engineering Management from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Norwich University in Northfield, VT. Among other honors earned by him, Mr. Martin has received each of the following honors twice, the Decoration for Exceptional Civilian Service and the Meritorious Civilian Service Award. He is a member of the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association, Association of the United States Army (AUSA), Signal Corps Regimental Association and the Field Artillery Association.
